Re: SWG
Not yet. I'm afraid to buy it. I spend so much time on XBOX playing Knights of the Old Republic, Clone Wars and Jedi Academy now it's rediculous. But I really want Star Wars Galaxies.....

Re: SWG
that link seems to be broken.

So is SW Galaxies something you can play now and then or do you have to devote a lot of time.

Re: SWG
depends on what you would like to do I guess some of thehigher end classes require alot of time, but hen there are alot of people that just stall because we use teamspeak/voice chat/ and really just hang out, alot of bears in there i'm surprised about that.

That's fine and dandy and all, but are they releasing the original version, or the special editions that came out to theatres a couple of years ago?

Re:
OH I'm sure George being the Cash Cow he is will release the first. Then later come out with a special edition. I heard he was going to add new scenes.

Re:
Ugh.... I think the only version I would be the happiest with would be the second version, aka the THX remastered version.

Re:
The DVD release will contain the 1997 "Special Edition" versions of the films... only. Lucas has said that he doesn't ever intend to release the films again as they originally appeared in theaters. There were rumors that Lucas was digitally tinkering with them to add even more than he did with the 1997 SE versions, but I'm guessing that the decision to release them in 2004 (when he swore they would only be released after the final SW film in 2005) means that he's opted to save those changes for future "Special Editions."

This release will mirror the "Indiana Jones" DVD set in that the three SW movies will be packaged together (and not sold separately) with a fourth disc of extras.

That's it for the Geek Report at 5:00!
