Logic problem

Can you think quickly to escape this perilous situation?

1) You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed.

2) On your right side is sharp drop off.

3) On your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you.

4) Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it.

5) Behind you is a lion running at the same speed as you and the Kangaroo.

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

Get your drunken ass off the merry-go-round!

This appears to be a zoo animal version of the "Swoop & Squat" insurance fraud scam. What happens is that, eventually, the elephant will speed up alongside the kangaroo. Just then, the lion will change lanes & be on your left where the elephant was. The elephant will swerve in front of the kangaroo, cutting him off, & forcing him to brake suddenly. With the lion at your side & the drop-off to your right, your horse will have no choice but to slam on his brakes & rear-end the kangaroo. Then all the unscrupulous veterinarians will come out of the woodwork for the lawyers & insurance claims.

Best thing to do: increase your following distance behind the kangaroo by 2 horse lengths. When you see the elephant speed up, quickly merge into the lane behind it before the lion behind you does... & then FLOOR IT! The elephant will not have time to react & you've just thwarted the scam. Go you.
