Today went to BestBuy and bought these.

I am now scanning in negatives of pictures I took. And soon I want to capture all of my old Video8 movies to the computer so I can burn them to DVD.

That's a beautiful little negative reader on that Epson. I know I had to buy this annoying $500 35mm-film-negative reader during my last job for my boss. It was the cheapest and best thing I could come up with. And believe me, it wasn't very user friendly. I'm glad to see that some of the more familiar brands are starting to realize there is a market for this. Is their included software easy to use?

software is pretty cool. just load and push the button. It is a bit slow, but for the price is well worth it. It's not like I take many 35mm pics.

I used it to make a copy of my reciept too. That was pretty cool, automatically scanned it and printed it to my printer.
